Jude has stopped crying....

when he goes to school! Yeah, and......nay. Is it wrong for me to be disappointed that he gave up so soon, or should I just be happy that for all his problems, he seems to be emotionally mature?

Jude started at Easter Seals

Jude started daycare at Easter Seals. It breaks my heart to hear him cry as I leave but its very apparent that he has shamelessly charmed everyone there--everyone knows him and everyone has a smile and a kind word for him. He is getting speech therapy at least twice a week with a highly recommended speech pathologist that has worked with lots of kids with cerebral palsy. He is such a gorgeous sweet boy...I hope this ends up as a good experience for him.

Sometimes it seems like the same old same old

Jude's progress is so slow, it often seems like the same old thing day after day. He's learned things, like "where is mommy's nose?" but it all seems to go so slow....is it so very wrong to want a miracle where he is a "normal" two year old boy, getting into everything and driving me crazy?

Doodle

The little doodle (our nickname for him) keeps growing and is getting better at his comando crawl. He is starting speech therapy (hopefully!) next week because I'm positive he has lots and lots to say!

Jude is still growing and progressing, slowly but surely. I love his sweet smile and even his buckets of drool. He is patient, loving, joyful and very determined at times.

A beautiful boy

Jude wanted to get into the magazines, so he got himself over there and eventually knocked the thing over -- something that would have annoyed me with his siblings, delights me with him. He had a goal and he reached it -- and it was no easy task!!!!

Please God, do not change Jude for me,
Change my heart for him
Let me take joy in simple accomplishments
Let me find patience when things do not go quickly
Give me perserverance to keep trying, when it looks hopeless
To know that a smile is a payment greater than gold
To love, unconditionally and without limits, forever
